Artist and Sculptor

I create a vast universe of sculptures in natural stone, corten steel, and painted iron. Guided by my imagination, I follow the path traced by models and preliminary drawings, which orient the conception of the contemporary sculptures I strive to achieve.

Design is a fundamental part of my process, driving me to search for forms and aesthetic balance, where iron and stone merge into a single body in a careful distribution of loads and weights. From there, inspiration takes over—shaped by the road already traveled and in dialogue with my previous creations in corten steel and iron, combined with natural stone that I recover from construction waste, production remnants, or quarries.

I bend my sculptures by hand and while the metal remains cold, a practice that allows me to feel the material and test my own physical limits. I work outdoors, in contact with nature, which inspires me and helps me achieve the union between steel and stone.

My work follows two main artistic lines: one more classical, in corten steel, rusted by the passing of time; the other more contemporary, in painted iron, with explosive colors and bold forms. Developing both lines in parallel prevents me from locking myself into a single repetitive style, pushing me instead to take risks and pursue a constant evolution in my sculptures. This dynamic of change and exploration opens up horizons of diverse and shifting ideas, always leading to new artistic creations.
